Please carefully read our cancellation policy. If you are giving one of our classes as a gift, please forward to the recipient. We want to make sure there is no confusion when ordering or if/when a change needs to be made to a reservation.
All events are paid for at the time of registration. Changes to reservations may be made up to two weeks prior to the date of the event. Cancellations within this timeframe will result in a credit that may be applied to a different event. Cancellations with less than the required notice will result in forfeiture of the event fee. However, within the two week time frame, we will reach out to those on the wait list and open the registration online. If we are able to resell the spots, a credit will be applied to your account. Reservations are also transferable to your family or friends. Due to unforeseen circumstances, occasions may arise that require Conquering Cuisine to cancel or reschedule classes. Participants will be offered a store credit or full refund in these situations.
We have given a lot of consideration to our policy. We are a small business with limited seating. Our policy is designed to help keep the cost of classes as low as possible by reducing the number of empty seats.
Why do you require two weeks minimum notice?
We have limited capacity and our sessions often sell out. When that occurs, other customers are prevented from registering. While we often have a waiting list, it takes time to refill spots - especially if we are making changes for larger and/or multiple groups.
Why can't I just move to another class?
People often say, "I'm not asking for a refund, just credit me to another class." A common misconception is that moving to another class does not cost anything. That move costs us the opportunity to sell those seats to other customers.
What if I need to cancel last minute?
We often get calls with requests for last minute changes due to illness, babysitting issues, work obligations, etc. We will do our best to fill those spots for you with people from our waitlist. We just can't guarantee it. You are always welcome to send family members or friends in your place.
