Ponzu Sauce
Light citrus and sesame scented sauce for seafood, sushi and more
1⁄2 cup fresh lime juice
1⁄3 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons mirin or sweet wine
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 tablespoon sambal olek
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Sea salt, to taste
- Whisk together first seven ingredients in a small bowl; season with salt to taste. Transfer to an airtight container and store, refrigerated, for up to two weeks.
